Hard to believe but we just had our 3rd meeting of 2018! Time flies when you’re having fun!
GCentre was kind enough to host us for our August meeting, such a bright and open event space! GCentre offers a dynamic, collaborative work environment at an affordable price for new entrepreneurs, small businesses and non-profit organizations.
We know summer is a busy time and anticipated lower numbers and yet we had new members join! Inviting a guest is the best way to attract new members, let them witness first-hand #ThePowerof100.
Call a friend today and let them know about our next meeting.

The more members we have, the more significant the impact we can make in the community. #LocalWomenLocalImpact
A big thank you to chef Jeanne Theriault of I Love to Cook for supplying us with a tasty table of fresh salads, scones, and refreshments. It was delicious!
Charity of Choice from May 8th Simcoe Hall Settlement House Dianne Zarobiak, Board Member joined us to share how our donation of $7,100 has helped to support their Sun Fun Camp program. Our contribution helped children experience the joys of summer camp, exploring and learning in our community with days trips across the region. View presentation
Thank you to all the members who brought in donations for the Backpack Program, Simcoehall is in desperate need of school supplies for the program.
If you or your business can help in any way, please contact patsavagesimcoehall@gmail.com.
A record number of charities were nominated -22! Ladies remember to use your power as a member to nominated charities within our community; there are 100’s serving our region.

We heard from two very deserving charities:
(the third nominee Bethesda House, couldn’t make it due to a scheduling error)
- The Kidney Foundation of Canada-Durham Chapter- nominated by Marlene, speaker Hannah Stojanovski
- Bereaved Families of Ontario, Durham Region – Kelly Fitzpatrick, Racquel’s Mom & Founder
The presentations were very emotional, hitting home how many of our neighbours are dealing with life-changing issues and need support.
All are worthwhile charities, and we would love to give the money to everyone that joins us, however, the members voted, and the WINNING charity is Bereaved Families of Ontario, Durham Region
Let’s get this donation to this group as soon as possible; it’s the small local charities supporting our community that need it the most!
All outstanding member contributions, kindly forward your donation today:
